Are You a Qualified Tenant?

At SLT Properties, we only rent to a certain clientele. As a rental management company, we make a promise to our property owners. We only rent to qualified tenants. If you are interested in one of our properties, we do conduct a background check. Proof of income is also required, along with a few other items.

Requirements

  • All individuals 18 years of age or older must complete an application. The application fee is $70 per applicant.
  • Credit criteria: Unless specifically approved by a property manager or owner, applicants with credit scores below 560 Resident Score with Transunion will not qualify.
  • Each applicant must provide a current state issued photo copy of ID or Passport
  • Verifiable income & Employment – rent not to exceed 28% of total monthly income. Each applicant will have to provide a copy of their 2 most recent pay stubs.To get the percentage divide the rent amount by your gross income amount. Rent / Gross income = Percent
  • Criminal Background Check – Convictions within the past 7 years for violent/drug related crimes will disqualify applicants unless approved by a property owner.
  • Rental History – Must have verifiable rental history & no evictions in the last 5 years

Move – In Process

  • Once approved, the applicants must sign the lease agreement and pay the security deposit in full via certified check or money order within 48 hours. (Security deposit could be 1.5 to 2 times one month's rent, depending on credit score.) An administrative fee of $150 is also due at time of lease signing approval, paid separate from the security deposit.
